Transfer on Death Deed

A Texas Transfer on Death Deed (TODD) lets you name beneficiaries who receive your real property when you die, often without probate for that property.

What this document does

  • You record the deed while you are alive; it does not transfer ownership until death.
  • The questionnaire collects owner information, property details, and primary and alternate beneficiaries.
  • When you finish, the app generates a Word document based on the Texas TODD template for review and signing.

When to use

Use this when you own Texas real estate and want a simple way to pass that property to specific people at death.

What you will cover

Owner & property · Beneficiaries · Word export

This tool helps prepare documents for review. It does not provide legal advice.
